Digital graphite sketch studies of human hands in three different positions. A right hand in a loose fist, viewed from the side. The thumb is curled over the index and middle fingers, with the knuckles angled down. Shading along the back of the hand suggests subtle muscle and tendon form. Bottom left: A right hand with fingers curled inward, but the thumb is tucked in and pressed against the side of the index finger, creating a compact, almost triangular shape. The palm area is softly shaded, with lighter, less finished lines towards the wrist. Bottom right: A baby’s right hand viewed from the front of the knuckles. Four fingers are visible, bent downward so the knuckles form a rounded horizontal row. The nails are lightly indicated, and there is soft shading between the fingers and along the folds of the skin.
